Mid-Continental Restoration takes tremendous pride in restoring and preserving our most treasured historic structures.  Considering the required credentials, and expectations, we consider these opportunities a privilege earned by demonstrating our expertise.

The approach to any project, particularly those of historic value, is to understand what repair method, and the procedures used are best for the preservation of the structure.  The historic fabric of a landmark structure should always be handled with extreme care and considered irreplaceable.  Mid-Continental craftsmen understand these concepts and approach their work with care and precision.

The Department of Interior has published and continues to update a long list of Preservation Briefs. These are widely used throughout the Restoration and Preservation Industry. While not all of these pertain to our specific trades, those that do are considered “The Bible” for our services. Each of our training modules are based on the practices and procedures outlined in these briefs.
