San Francisco Tower
The San Francisco Tower project is a comprehensive renovation initiative focused on a 34-story condominium building situated in mid-town Kansas City, in close proximity to Crown Center. Our dedicated team is collaborating with Structural Engineer Tom Rewerts to meticulously assess and address structural and waterproofing deficiencies within the building envelope.
To rectify delaminated concrete columns and beams, an intricate process involves chipping back the damaged sections, cleaning and coating structural steel, and subsequently applying concrete patches. Notably, the challenges of this project are heightened by the need to execute these intricate repairs on a swing stage at a staggering height of 300 feet. Following the structural interventions, the revitalized concrete will undergo a treatment process involving a clear, penetrating silane for enhanced water repellency, ensuring the longevity and resilience of the building’s structural integrity.
