21 Ten Lofts

The 21 Ten Lofts project in Downtown Kansas City is a historic restoration endeavor aimed at maintaining the integrity of this iconic building, which was constructed in 1914. During a thermal drone inspection, structural issues were identified on the building’s facade, prompting the condo association to take a proactive approach to address the problems. To ensure the building’s longevity, our restoration specialists have been diligently working on removing and replacing deteriorated mortar joints, repairing open mortar joins, and addressing distresses in steel shelf angles to prevent further moisture intrusion at all levels of the structure. Additionally, our team is conducting selective brick replacement, terra cotta patching, as well as repairing and replacing sealants around the building’s windows, all with the goal of preserving the historic charm and character of the 21 Ten Lofts.

Overall, the project is a testament to the dedication and commitment of the condo association and restoration specialists in safeguarding this piece of Kansas City’s architectural heritage. Through these efforts, the building is set to remain a landmark in downtown Kansas City for years to come.
