Stockyards Horse & Mule Barn – Ft. Worth, TX

Constructed in 1912, during World War 1, Fort Worth was the largest morse and mule market in the world as allied military officials, from all over the world, came to purchase animals.  Work scopes included over 1600 CF of concrete repair, performed on beams, slabs, and columns; we used over two 18 wheeler loads of repair material.  Reconstruction of the clerestory brick pilasters and cmu seat walls at all barns, selective repointing, as well as salvage and replacement of over 40,000 bricks. Work also included modifications to 48 storefront and other openings, stucco and plaster repair, restoration of steel and wood windows, setting of over 30 lintels, setting of over 40 canopies, and setting of new cast caps at wing walls.
