Church of the Nativity & Parish School

We recently completed another successful project at The Church of the Nativity and Nativity Parish School in Leawood, Kansas. The facility was built in 1990 and after 3 decades of exposure to the elements, was showing signs of staining and biological growth on its limestone exterior. We began by thoroughly cleaning the building’s facade which is comprised of travertine, EIFS, and limestone. After the cleaning, we applied protective coatings to each of the building’s exterior surfaces.

  • All limestone surfaces were treated with “Natural Stone Treatment” water repellent.
  • All EIFs cladding received a breathable hydrophobic coating.
  • The adjacent Nativity Parish School building also received a full exterior restoration.

Both of the facility’s buildings will be resilient to staining from the elements for years to come.
