Carnie Smith Stadium
Carnie Smith Stadium is home to the Pittsburg State University Gorillas Football Team. It had been 20 years since MCR last worked on the concrete structure, so the surfaces were showing some wear and signs of distress. MCR recently completed another project on the stadium where the bleachers were removed; the concrete surfaces thoroughly cleaned; deteriorated concrete replaced; sealant joints re-caulked; pre-formed expansion joints replaced; handrails repainted; a new traffic coating system applied; then the bleachers re-installed.
